Toddler Program (ages 16 months - 3 years old)
We are one of few Montessori School's that offer a part time Toddler Program.
We accept children between the ages of 16 months and 3 years old.
We do not expect children to be toilet trained. We work with the children and families on toilet training.

Toddler Mommy and Me – T,W,F 1:30pm-2:30pm

This is a great opportunity for moms to spend time with their Toddlers in a Montessori Classroom with a Montessori Certified Directress to answer questions, partake in group discussions on topics you choose and small playgroups with other Toddlers and Mothers. This is a great opportunity to begin the socialization process of Toddlers and allows Mothers to interact with other Toddler Mothers and utilize the expertise of a certified Montessori Teacher. You are welcome to sign up for one or more days per week. The fee per class is $15.00 The maximum enrollment per class is 12 to ensure the preservation of a small group. Mommy and Me Toddler Classes are open to Everyone, you do not have to have a child enrolled in any other program to participate in these classes. Please call 703-729-5755 for more information.

Primary Program (3 years old to 6 years old)
We do not require children to be toilet trained by the time the child enters the Primary Program. We work with the child and families on toilet training as there is no hard and fast rules or age when a child is ready to use the toilet on their own.

Kindergarten Program
Our kindergarten Program is from 8:30-2:30. Typically it is the third year of a child's Montessori experience. Our Kindergarten Program includes activities such as Yoga, Spanish, Arts & Crafts and Physical Education.

Kindergartners are in a mixed age group class in the morning. During the afternoon the kindergartners work with the teacher following the Montessori philosophy and curriculum.

Enrichment Program
For Public School Kindergarten Children (We provide Transportation!)

Our Enrichment Program is for children attending public school morning Kindergarten who need care after school. We provide bus service from the public school to Willow Montessori School. Our program offers a Montessori enhancement to the public school curriculum where the children work with a certified Montessori teacher in the afternoon as well as group play activities, science and art projects. We also offer, yoga, music and movement and Stretch N Grow gymnastics classes. This is a 5 days per week program.

At Willow we realize that many of our families have siblings that attend public school as well as families who want to attend the Public School Kindergarten programs. We are also aware that scheduling after school activities and care for working parents is hard. We want to reach as many children and families as possible with the Montessori Method. As such our Enrichment Program is offered to any child attending Public School Kindergarten or Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3).

The Enrichment Program timings are:
Timings: 11:45am - 3:00pm *Lunch is provided
Timings: 11:45am – 6:00pm *Lunch is provided
Timings: 3:00pm-6:00pm *Afternoon Snack is provided

The Enrichment Program is based on Virginia 's Foundation Blocks for Early Learning (Pre-K Standards for Literacy, Mathematics, Science and History and Social Science).
The focus of the Kindergarten Enrichment Program is to help the children learn and master the public school program requirements as well as practice core and key academic concepts.

Enrichment Program in Detail

The focus of the Lower Elementary Enrichment Program is to help children complete daily homework assignments, creative play, and conduct numerous experiments that keep the children interested and relaxed.

BUS SERVICE will be offered for children attending public school Kindergarten and lower Elementary. We will transport the children from public school to Willow Montessori. The monthly bus charge is: $200.
